Build a brand: Cozino &
an online unique store

Cozino was a new lifestyle brand and store for your open kitchen & livingroom on the Belgian market in 2021. They wanted you to create your own personalised home, with the help & knowhow of stylists and technical professionals. It is meant to be an opposite to the Coolblue and Mediamarket stores.

Role
A UX/UI designer in a team of designers and creatives in an allround design and advertising agency in Ghent, at Gutzandglory (now June20).

Duration
Probably a year with the development of logo, visual style, guidelines and development of the e-commerce website in Magento

Task
Create an online matching style e-commerce website, fitting the brand but unlike everything that is there today. A website that oozes a unique style and wants to guide you to find your style.

Challenge
• create a unique, stylish and user friendly, trustworthy shopping experience
• show we are not a dime a dozen but an emotional brand here to assist you in finding or creating your own personalised style
• to highlight a netwerk of professionals ready to install your electronical equipment
• create a passport for the stylists to guide you in creating your style
• create a UX/UI for the website alongside the concept of big imagery
• create a set of components and templates to create the entire site in Magento w/a set of strong art direction rules from the brand team
• create a photo library alongside brand designers and creative director
• create online brand guidelines to match print & packaging style

Tools & methods:
• work in Photoshop, Illustrator & Indesign, and Sketch
• work in Basecamp, for all project management & development
