Moneyou

Moneyou is a daughter bank to ABNAMRO in The Netherlands.
They were a client of Boondoggle. They wanted a new branding and website that was easy to use for all products. All designers were embedded in different product teams.

Role
I was freelance UX designer, part of the Boondoggle UX team & CX team of Moneyou and part of their internal agile product teams (loans) in 2017. We worked on the user experience (UX/UI) & component library for the websites for The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Austria. We worked in the teams in agile sprints, and also looked for solutions on daily basis for front & backend development teams.

Location
I was working in the Boondoggle offices in Leuven & remote from home (2 days).
And 3 days every other week in Moneyou offices (Amsterdam Science Park).

Challenge
• loan team: design a user friendly flow to calculate & view the conditions of getting a loan
• design a user friendly experience for uploading documents (verification)
• savings team: design product pages (before login)
• custom for users of each country (NL,BE, DE, AT)
• to create a user friendly component library in a team of designers
• to create a styleguide and all assets (in team of 8 designers)

Tools & Methods
• Workshops, paper prototyping
• Setting up user tests but not interviewing
• Digital prototypes in Figma & Invision (2017)
• Design sprints and Bi-weekly agile sprints
• Weekly design team meets, daily standups, Slack
• Jira, Confluence, Trello for task management between designers
